As much as the boy rubbed the lamp insistence that everyone spoke wonders, nothing happened, it came not no genius grant him his wishes. Believing

rating : The story could be considered subtly comic, has the virtue of parallelism between two concepts deeply rooted as folk legends: a clear allusion to the lamp of Aladdin and the invention of electric bulb due to Thomas A. Edison. The entanglement of the two concepts built a nice connection between fantasy and reality (in the scientific sense of the term). Moreover, the exultation of Uncle Thomas "is a vindication of the inventor very unusual in these times.
