intercultural Toledo Gate Cultural Center

In order to promote integration and to raise awareness against racism in January 2010, SOS Racism had started a theater workshop at the Centro Cultural Puerta de Toledo. The work will premiere in April.

The script of the play reflected the cultural richness of the group members on a voluntary basis, have come forward to participate as actors or working in the music, costumes, scenery or lighting. No previous experience is necessary. Participation in the workshop is free and fun!

The workshop will be held Monday and Wednesday from 19:00 am to 21:00 pm at the Centro Cultural Puerta de Toledo and is run by the Galapagos group.

VI INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF PAINTING TOLEDO PUCHE


Exhibition Hall "La Paloma" welcomes the winning works in the VI International Competition signal Puche Toledo painting, and some of the finalists, through the House in Madrid Murcia.


The oil painting "White meat" of the artist Juan José Martínez Cánovas Murcia won first prize in the International Painting Contest VI Toledo City Cieza Puche, worth 6,000 euros.


The second prize was awarded to Antonio Utrera Quesada with the abstract oil on canvas "In the Land Series IV." The third prize went to Javier Martínez Pino, with the work "Melted tree." Pathways have also been given references to works "The Afternoon" by Cristina Gamon Lazaro, and 'No' Pepa Satué Ripoll.


The jury was composed of Lourdes Cobacho, Juan Antonio Lorca and Juan Antonio Abellan, issued a ruling ceremony held at the Museum of Siyâsa and which were handed awards to the authors of the winning paintings. The winning and selected 24 paintings are part of this exhibition that, after calling at the Library Cieza Murcia, now come to Madrid to the Exhibition Hall La Paloma.
